Many of the ladies in the shop have been working on the Point Five/Colinette cropped sweater and it has knitted up beautifully in all colorways!

We recently began carrying many more of the Prism yarns and have Laura's books in stock as well, so for those of you who love Prism, stop by the shop and look at the "Stuff" we are carrying! The Simply Beautiful/Tricoter Sweater books, which are made with these yarns, have been flying off the shelves as well.

Many of the ladies in the shop have taken Louise's entrelac class and have fallen in love with "Patchwork Knitting". This style of knitting has been attributed to German knitter-extraordinaire, and designer Horst Schulz. Here is an example of an entrelac sweater that Louise knitted up just for the Yarn Barn!

Another very popular class has been Louise's "Honeycomb" class. Here are examples of the technique, as modeled by one of our customers:

We are very excited about the Regia boots and socks... there are so many styles of socks to make for this three-season boot. The socks can be worn with sandals and Birkenstocks in the summer, as well. They knit up very fast and easily; you won't even have to change colors as the yarn "does it for you"!
